We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes. Our Talent & Resourcing team have a very important role - we recruit our brilliant people, both our paid and volunteering roles. What is the role?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Administrator to join our small but perfectly formed, Talent & Resourcing team to provide a first-class administration service. The Talent & Resourcing Administrator will be responsible for supporting the team and helping our great hiring managers across the charity with their resourcing needs.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and experience in providing administration support to a team and to internal customers. If you like variety then this is the role for you, each day will see you answering telephone and email queries, utilising job boards and social media channels to advertise vacancies, coaching our hiring managers through the recruitment process, providing administration support to the team and spinning many plates in the air!
The Talent & Resourcing team is based at two different locations and can often be out of the office visiting other sites, therefore, the Talent & Resourcing Administrator will be able to work proactively and independently.
This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the work of Blue Cross, and this post, it may be necessary to exceed these hours when the workload demands.
With the current Covid-19 situation we are committed to our candidate's recruitment and onboarding experience, this means the hiring (and potentially onboarding) for this role will be done completely remotely. We will work with our candidates to make this process as smooth and accessible as possible.
What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
• Experience of working within recruitment
• Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment, and supporting multiple teams
• Proven administration skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work proactively, without supervision and independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• IT literate with MS Office and web-based databases and platforms
• Proven track record of prioritising and organising work and projects

Salary: £18,060 - £22,000 per annum
