Veterinary Nurse – Call Hub Support, Manchester Rehoming, Advice & Behaviour Unit with some homeworking
12-month fixed term contract, part time (35 hours per week)

We are looking for a registered Veterinary Nurse on a fixed term basis to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent patient and client care and the successful candidate will need strong nursing skills and be able to hit the ground, working as part of our Veterinary Call Hub team supporting them in making triaging decisions for pets who need our veterinary care. You will need to work under your own initiative to help get good outcomes for pets and their owners and at times act as the team lead when the Supervisor is not available.
We are looking for a Veterinary Nurse who can have a great rapport with clients when cases are escalated to them and be able to give clear advice to our teams when they need support and guidance.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract working part time/35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (full time hours are 42 hours per week).
This role could be undertaken in part as a homebased role so you will require sufficient broadband speed to carry out video and voice calls.
What is required?
We are looking for someone who is :
• Fully qualified Veterinary Nurse
• Registered with RCVS
• Demonstrable customer service skills
• IT literate with MS Office and web-based platforms
It would also be great if you had:
• Remote consultations experience
• Call handling experience

Salary: £22,360 - £26,000 per annum pro rata
