Our Education team have a very important role teaching young people in schools and youth groups about the importance of pet welfare. Our team of Education officers and volunteer speakers around the UK deliver free talks teaching children aged 3 upwards about the needs of pets and how to be safe around dogs.

You will be adept at answering email and phone enquiries, monitoring and maintaining records, liaising within the team and providing administrative support. You’ll keep in touch with our remote Education officers and volunteers, so you need to be able to work proactively and independently to ensure the smooth running of the Programme.

This role is offered on an annualised hours contract basis working 960 hours, with hours of work averaging 30 per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be needed, however, as during school term times you will be required to work more hours per week, with less hours worked outside of term time.
