What is the role?

In this role you will lead a small team, including a Digital Product Manager and a User Experience Designer to deliver our website and product roadmap. You’ll help ensure that we provide fantastic user-focused products and drive a culture that supports more agile delivery of digital products.

This role will be critical in ensuring we focus on the needs of our audiences and that we effectively translate our advice and offer into excellent digital products. You will do this by working closely with our digital partner agency to ensure we are innovative, creative and at the forefront of delivering pet advice and support.

You will work with colleagues across the charity to drive best practice and ensure that work is strategically prioritised so that our digital products meet organisational and digital marketing objectives. In addition, this role will see you leading large-scale projects, often involving stakeholders from across the charity at all levels and delivering to within timescales and within budget.

Your normal hours of work are 35 hours per week.

What is required?
• Excellent knowledge of agile project management and ways of working with substantial experience in this sphere
• Substantial experience of user-centred development and management of a large consumer facing website
• Proven project management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong technical expertise, with particular emphasis on web, analytics, mobile, search, e-commerce and CRM
• Strong line-management skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team
